Life is a School

Life is a School
That is His tool-
A tool for training-
Training for reigning.

It is a School of patients
Who will try your patience.
And you have to endure
So that you can mature.

It is full of battles
Potholes and hurdles
To equip you for increase;
Adorn you for release.

Its fires are meant to free-
Free you so you can see-
see beyond the seen;
enable you to be weaned.

It’s barriers are carriers
To take you to planes higher
Its bumps are lifts
To trigger shifts and gifts.

Yes, there are terse and tough terrains.
But all designed to make you reign.
The hills and mountains will make you;
They’ve not come to mar you.

So be a good student and soldier
As to grow stronger and stronger.
Study well in this School
So you too can be His tool-
His too for elevation;
His tool for His glorification.
Study well to be a good:
Ambassador, Apple of His Eyes, Accepted in the Beloved
Blessed of the Lord
Christian, Co-labourer, Conqueror
Disciple,
Empowered Steward
Freed Slave of God, faithful servant

This life has many questions
And you have many options.
You can make the right choices
When you seek to hear His voice.
You can answer the questions right
You have to have divine sight.

Study to show yourself approved
Study so you can be accredited
Put your head down to earth
Concentrate as to make progress-
Progress that will bring success.

Strive and press for excellence
This comes by diligence
You need a lot of focus
On the cross so that you can cross-
Cross over to the other side
Irrespective of the ocean wide.
You must leap over every wall
No matter how strong and tall.
The battle is not yours but God’s.
Hold on according to His word.
The first shall be the last
And the last shall be the first.

15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Tim2:15
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Spiritual Immaturity
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 6: The Peril of Not Progressing
1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
