When You Know Jesus is Really Your Boss
When you know Jesus is really your boss
You will work hard and give Him your best
Knowing that every effort of yours will be a plus
That will ultimately yield a great harvest.
When you know that you are in His vineyard
Worker, called, appointed for divine purpose
Then you will do your duty and work, joy-clad
Knowing that your reward will come in great dose.
When you know that you are His Hands and feet
A City on a hill, salt of the earth, light in darkness
Then you will open yourself for Him to complete
And press on in all you do so that His heart you bless.
When you know that you are a co-worker with Him
Raised with Him, seated with Him in heavenly places
Then you will strive to excel, and fulfil your dream
Knowing that sufficient for you is His surpassing grace.
“Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and the Master you are serving is Christ.” (Colossians 3:23-24 NLT)
