How Loving and Caring (by Fenny West)

How Loving, How Caring!

“I heard Him say, “Go there and speak”
But I ran away, boarded a ship
Like the Titanic, I was bold.
I was wise in my way, in my eyes.
Unbeknown to me, I leaked and was weak.
I had betrayed myself, my soul sold.

And down I went, drowning
to a point of no return.
Then I remembered my fault
And cried out to Him.
In the depths I raised a hymn of praise,
I worshipped my Maker for His mercy,
His wisdom, power, sovereignty.
Like Paul and Silas, I was not silenced,
Even in the rain, pain and grave.

He was moved, quickly forgave
Commanded an earthquake
To wash me ashore.
And there I was,
Even with a pillow
Under my head.
How loving, how caring!

When Worry Wakes You Up ( by Fenny West)

When worry wakes you up

Turn your attention to God

He never sleeps- always up.

Take comfort from His word.

Why worry? Begin to pray

And the peace of God will come

Focus on Jesus, don’t stray,

And He will calm your storm.

Worry will war you out

Give fuel to your enemy,

Make you fear and doubt

Becloud any possibility.

Worry wastes your energy

Undermines the word of God

Magnifies your energy

Belittles your Source and God.

Who? ( fenny West)

Who?

who in His time God's plan healing rising with healing in wings

Whose report will you believe?
Who has the final say in your affairs?
Who can be against you when God is for you?
Who has loved you with an everlasting love?
Who purchased you with a great price?
Who is working everything together for your
good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose?
Who made you more than a conqueror?
Whose mind is full of you?
Who knew you before the foundations of the world?
Who has engraved you on the Palm of His Hand?
Who makes provision before the need arises?
Who declares the end from the beginning?
Who cares for you more than you know?
Who has made you the apple of His eyes?
Who will never cease loving you?
Who will remain with you when all others have deserted you?
Who knows you more than you know yourself?
Who is always there whether you feel it or not?

6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;Phil1:6

‘People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.’

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 1Cor13:2

Love Remains the Greatest

love cares

Despite the yawning gap

Love remains the bridge

It is seen in full action

Regardless of the emotion.

Love remains the greatest

In the midst of great tests

It will always prevail

I t will never fail.

4     Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

5     does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

6     does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

7     bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8     Love never fails.

Cast Your Cares on Him

I am with You always

Cast Your Cares on Him

                        C.H. Spurgeon

1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

It is a happy way of soothing sorrow when we can feel-“HE careth for me.” Christian! do not dishonour religion by always wearing a brow of care; come, cast your burden upon your Lord. You are staggering beneath a weight which your Father would not feel. What seems to you a crushing burden, would be to Him but as the small dust of the balance. Nothing is so sweet as to

“Lie passive in God’s hands,

And know no will but His.”

O child of suffering, be thou patient; God has not passed thee over in His providence. He who is the feeder of sparrows, will also furnish you with what you need. Sit not down in despair; hope on, hope ever. Take up the arms of faith against a sea of trouble, and your opposition shall yet end your distresses. There is One who careth for you. His eye is fixed on you, His heart beats with pity for your woe, and his hand omnipotent shall yet bring you the needed help. The darkest cloud shall scatter itself in showers of mercy. The blackest gloom shall give place to the morning. He, if thou art one of His family, will bind up thy wounds, and heal thy broken heart. Doubt not His grace because of thy tribulation, but believe that He loveth thee as much in seasons of trouble as in times of happiness. What a serene and quiet life might you lead if you would leave providing to the God of providence! With a little oil in the cruse, and a handful of meal in the barrel, Elijah outlived the famine, and you will do the same. If God cares for you, why need you care too? Can you trust Him for your soul, and not for your body? He has never refused to bear your burdens, He has never fainted under their weight. Come, then, soul! have done with fretful care, and leave all thy concerns in the hand of a gracious God.
