Of the year 2018

An August visitation

Promotion and divine intervention

On an August occasion.

The Land of the Lord

The Land of the Word

The Word that was God

That was in the beginning

That was with the Father.

The Land of the Word that was made flesh

And dwelt amongst us to refresh.

The Holy Land, a wonder to behold

A Land of hills and valleys

Beautiful citadels and cities on hills

Oh, how it mesmerized and thrilled!

My eyes beheld Jerusalem;

Drank the waters of Nazareth;

Trod the streets of Haifa,

Karmi El, Galilee, Kinesereth.

Beheld¬†Mount Gilboa, Negev desert ūüŹú

Touched down on River Jordan;

Reflected the dark days

of the Holocaust in Nahariya.

Prayed at the Knesset-seat of Government.

Fascinating, breathtaking

Awe-inspiring, extraordinary!

And what shall I say about the Dead Sea?

Medicinal, yet has no life – like no other

Preserves and serves like no other.

Shalom Jerusalem!

Shalom the City of David.

Now I know why you are so coveted.

Shalom Israel

The Land the fool hates

The Land the wise loves

The Land of Olives and dates

The Land the Lord loves

The Land flowing with milk and honey.

The wailing Wall wailed with its quarters

Life-less religion still holding sway

But coming is the Day of the Way

Coming is  New Jerusalem

Where Jesus will reign with His own.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

Watch Your Words (By Fenny West)

Watch Your Words

5¬†¬†¬†¬† Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

6¬†¬†¬†¬† So we may boldly say: ” The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Heb13:5-6

21            Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit Prov18:21

Watch Your Words

Can make or Mar.

Side with the Lord

Hold on to His Word

Be it near or far.

There is appointed time

A season for everything

Delay is no denial

It’s only a¬†trial¬†

To engineer your triumph.

Forsake not your mercies,

Your Promised Land-

The Land flowing with milk and honey;

The Land that is more than money.

Forsake not your allotted plot

Your breakthrough,

Your inheritance.

Be not like Esau who threw

away his birthright for a pot of stew.

He regretted his bad decision and could not turn back the hand of the clock.

Be not like those who though out of Egypt, still had Egypt in them.

“Come out from among them and be separate, sanctified, set apart for the Master’s use.”¬†

Speak no more like a babe.

“When I was a babe I spoke as one. But when I became an adult I put childish things away. “1Cor13:11

As a man thinks so is he. Think the thoughts of God. Speak the words of God. Say what God has said about you. “For He has said… therefore I can boldly say… “

Be not ensnared by your own words, but be liberated by your words. Be edified by your words and let others be edified by your words. Let your words be seasoned with salt, wholesome, empowering, inspiring, comforting, assuring, faith-filled. Prov6:2, Eph4:29

Be not like the ten spies who failed the test and spoke out of turn.

“Let us go back to Egypt. It would have been better for us to remain slaves. The people in the land are stronger than us. We are not able to overcome them. The land eats up its inhabitants. We were as grasshoppers in our eyes and so were we in their eyes. ” Num13:27-28,31-33

They saw through the enemies’ eyes and not through God’s¬†eyes. They magnified the problem and minimised and undermined the promise.¬†

They spoke doubt and unbelief and cause many to wail and go down with them to an early grave.

13            And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance.Josh14:12

Be like Joshua and Caleb who saw possibility in spite¬†of the¬†giants. They¬†knew the giants they saw were a test of their faith and they spoke what they believed and not what they felt or saw. And God was pleased with them. They saw the giants as bread to them and so they turned out to be. They said “If the Lord delight in us, He will give us the Land.” And He gave them the land.¬†

Caleb, after 45 years had passed, still held on to the promise and reminded Joshua when it was the time to distribute the land

Watch what you say

Take a leaf from Caleb:

Joshua 14:7

“Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh-barnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.”

Joshua 14:8

“Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.”

Joshua 14:9

“And Moses swore on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s forever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.”

Joshua 14:10

“And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spoke this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.”

Joshua 14:11

“As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.”

Joshua 14:12

“Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spoke in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.”

Joshua 14:13

“And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an Inheritance.¬†

Joshua 14

“Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.

Jos14:7-13

You will not miss your Hebron, regardless of the passage of time.

¬†Does the vision tarry? Wait for it and at the appointed time it shall speak and not lie. It shall not delay a single¬†day. Say like Job,”I will wait until my change comes.”

27¬†¬† Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: ” My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God”?

28   Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

29   He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

30   Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,

31   But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.isa40:27-31

15   My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.

11   He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.Ps31:15

21   Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.Prov18:21

35   A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

36   But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

37¬†¬† For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

think as God thinks. Speak as He speaks. He calls those thinks which be not as though they are. He called Abraham father of many nations before he had one child.

See yourself and call yourself Good Success despite the failure or seeming failure you see in the natural. See through the eyes of God and assure yourself that God does not make failures or sponsor flops. Your time is coming. You will give thanks. You will give praise.

If you have spoken out of turn , you can reverse it from today and start speaking in line with the Word of God.

Start acknowledging the good things God has done and is doing in your life. Give Him thanks and praise for His mercies and faithfulness.

Matt12:35-37

Proverbs 23:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
‚ÄúEat and drink!‚Ä̬†he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

We have the mind of Christ. We speak the mind of God.

We do not focus on lying vanities, ‚ÄúYea, had God said?‚ÄĚ

5¬†¬†¬†¬† Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

6¬†¬†¬†¬† So we may boldly say: ” The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Heb13:5-6

6              But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.Heb8:6

Hold Fast Your Confession

19   Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Prov15:44 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.

Mark11:2323 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Josh1:88 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Isa5510-1110 ” For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Mum23:1919 ” God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

James3:4-54 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!

Jonah 2:8-10 King James Version (KJV)

8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.

10 And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

When Job began to give thanks rather than lament his condition- observe lying vanities, God commanded the fish to spit him out.

As you despite your present predicament, impasse, limitation, challenge…. Begin to see what God has done for you and His faithfulness and mercy, He will command your condition to spit you out into your promised Land. Watch your words.

20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you. Prov4:20-24

The ten spies brought an evil report and caused many to wail in the camp. They took many with them to an early grave. This will not be your portion, in Jesus’ Name.

If you have spoken out of turn before you will reverse it from today and say what has said about you – not what you feel or what people or the enemy says about you. You will call those things which be not as though they are, just like God would do. You will take sides with the Lord and see through His eyes and not through the eyes of your adversaries. Your words will be spirit and life. You will not miss your Hebron, in Jesus’ Name.

Reigning in Life ( By Fenny West)

Reigning in Life

Reigning in Life-

Yes, in this life,

With the Word of Life,

Is your endowment

Your entitlement

And it’s for empowerment.¬†

Using the abundance of grace

Wherever you go-in any place

To show forth the praises of the King

And glorifying Him in everything

Is what He always requires;

This is His cardinal desire.

So let nothing or no one quench your fire.

Shake off the sackcloth, get out of the mire

Take the Holy Ghost mantle and reign.

Reign when it shines, and reign when it rains.

As a city on a hill, that cannot be hidden, reign.

Know that the Greater One in-dwells you.

He is in you to work for you and through you.

Take away and debunk every limitation

Mount up to surmount every intimidation

Rise up and defeat every opposition

Keep your focus regardless of distractions.

You are more than a conqueror.

Use the Holy Ghost power in store.

Rise, Reign, and rule in Jesus’ Name.¬†

Know He has a Name above all names

And has called you to reign with Him.

Fear no foe as you speak for Him

Go even where angels dread

Because He called you to be the head.

17For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)Rom5:17

8¬†¬†¬†¬† But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”Acts1:8

14   Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 2Cor2:14

57   But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Cor15:57

19   Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you luke10:19

Rise to a New Dimension ( by Fenny West)

rise to a new dimension(2)

Rise to a New Dimension
Defy all odds to fulfill vision.
If God be for you,
Who can be against you?
Sleeping giant awake.
You’ve got all that it takes.
Drink from the Holy fountain
And rise to move every mountain ‚õį.
Use your God-given authority
with impunity and audacity.
Arise and take territories.
Arise and mount up like an Eagle ūü¶Ö
Put paid to every struggle.
You are more than a conqueror.
You are an overcomer.

Victory Mentality ( by Fenny West)

Victory Mentality

Will take you places

Give you opportunity

And increase your graces

Enabling you to make history.

You will surpass your expectation.

And become a beckon; a pacesetter.

You will defy every limitation

And become better, stronger, smatter

You will be head-hunted, sought -after

And become the jewel in the crown wherever.

Doors will open for you of their own accord.

And nothing shall be impossible to you.

14Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 2Cor2:14

57   But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1Cor15:57-58

Joseph’s Rise to Power

37   So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants.

38¬†¬† And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

39¬†¬† Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.

40¬†¬† You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”

41¬†¬† And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

42¬†¬† Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.

43¬†¬† And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.

44¬†¬† Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”

45¬†¬† And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-Paaneah. And he gave him as a wife Asenath, the daughter of Poti-Pherah priest of On. So Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.Gen39:37-45

1 Samuel 30: David’s Conflict with the Amalekites

1     Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire,

2     and had taken captive the women and those who were there, from small to great; they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way.

3     So David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive.

4     Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

5¬†¬†¬†¬† And David’s two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite, had been taken captive.

6     Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

7¬†¬†¬†¬† Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, “Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

8¬†¬†¬†¬† So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.

9     So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and came to the Brook Besor, where those stayed who were left behind.

10   But David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so weary that they could not cross the Brook Besor.

16   And when he had brought him down, there they were, spread out over all the land, eating and drinking and dancing, because of all the great spoil which they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.

17   Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.

18   So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives.

19   And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.

1Sam30:1-10,16-19

26¬†¬† Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

32¬†¬† Then David said to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”

33¬†¬† And Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.”

34¬†¬† But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock,

35   I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.

36¬†¬† Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.”

37¬†¬† Moreover David said, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you!”

45¬†¬† Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

46   This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47¬†¬† Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD’s, and He will give you into our hands.”

48   So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

49   Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.

50   So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David.

51   Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.

52   Now the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted, and pursued the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell along the road to Shaaraim, even as far as Gath and Ekron.
