The MIGHTY Men of God are Here
Creation is waiting for the manifest ion of the sons of God. Rom8:19
We are the sons of God; the New Creatures, the holy nation, royalty, priests and kings of God; mighty men of God who have answered the call of God in our generation.
We are the mighty men of God who dare to rise up in this end-time to fulfil the vision and purpose of God for our generation.
We the mighty men of God resolve to stand up to be counted. Choose you whom you would serve. As for we and our households, we will serve the Lord.
We resolve to take the mantle of God in our time and stand in the gap for our nation. We stand against very principality and powers.
We are the heads of our families. We are the priests of our homes. We are the pastors and prophets of our homes. We are the providers and teachers in our homes. We hear for our families. We see for our families. We speak for our families and we protect our families. We cast the vision for our families. We pray for our families. We lead prayer in our homes. We are passionate for our God and our Maker. We make much of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvellous light.
We love our wives as Christ loves the Church. We treat our wives like queens. We do not beat them or undermine or demean them. We bring up our children in the ways of our God. We are not ashamed of the gospel- knowing that it is the power of God that brings about salvation and reconciliation and true progression.
We are the mighty men of God born of the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, empowered by the Spirit, anointed by the Spirit, going places by the Spirit; going from glory to glory by the Spirit and going from strength to strength by the Spirit.
We are the mighty men of God and greater is He that is us than he that is in the world. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We are more than conquerors. We have overcome the world. We are slaying every Goliath that shows up. We are exercising dominion and taking territories. We reign on this earth with Christ.
We the mighty men of God declare that the kingdom of God is here. We have acquainted ourselves with the Most High and goodness and mercy and super-abundant grace has been released upon us and we lay up gold as dust. We are heirs of God and joint- heirs with Christ. All He has are ours. We are laden with silver and our strength is renewed day by day. We are blessed with divine health and prosperity. Whatever we lay our hands to do prospers. When men are cast down, we are saying we are blessed and highly favoured and there is promotion and elevation for us. We speak to mountains and they obey. We are blessed with every spiritual blessing. Abraham’s blessings are ours. We dwell in Zion and sickness and disease have no part with us. We see where others do not see. We see with the eyes of faith. We see people as God sees them. We reach out for the lost. We are intercessors.
We are bold and strong in the Lord, and in His mighty power. No weapon fashioned against us prospers. We ride on high hills. We shine wherever we go as light. We are like a city on a hill we are seen and acknowledged wherever we go. We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We make a difference for good wherever we go.
As mighty men of God we take risks for God like David’s Mighty Men. We spend and are spent for Him. We are kingdom- minded; kingdom conscious, Kingdom-gate-keepers, Kingdom financiers. We seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things are added to us. We are luxuriant in our growth, persistently productive and significant in our attainments. We bear much fruit-fruit that remains to posterity-from generation to generation. We operate with excellent spirit wherever we go and in all we do. Mediocrity is far from us. We stand before kings and not mere men.
As mighty men of God our opposition propels us into promotion. We use the valley of Bacca- valley of weeping as a place of Spring. Nothing fazes us. We are indomitable, unconquerable, unstoppable, exceeding abundantly able to do all things according to the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us. In every thing we give thanks to God who always gives us the victory. When we go through the fire, we are not burned. Rather we are refined to shine like gold and reflect the image of our Maker and our God. We change the decree of kings like Daniel and friends. We use the word of God as our rod and part Red Seas and walk on dry ground. We walk on water like Peter of old. Our presence tame lions. When we speak, Kings listen and obey. We are created for good works. We are movers and shakers in our land. We are investors and innovator and trend-setters and pace-makers in our land.
As Mighty Men of God, we are complete in Christ, anointed without measure, full of God, replete with Him; as He is, so we are. In Him we live, move and have our very being. Nothing is impossible with us. Of His fullness we have received, and grace for grace. We are of God and from God and have overcome. Favour follows us. Honour and beauty follow us. The forces of success, prosperity, health and wealth are let loose in our lives.
We are God’s Mighty men in these closing days of time. And we will fulfil our vision and purpose in our generation to the glory of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Shake it off and Move on
And let nothing stop you
For the high calling press on
The Greater One is in You.
My friend, refuse to be stalled
When you come to Bacca Valley.
Jericho may be fortified with walls
Yet awaiting you is great victory.
You may have been bitten in Malta
On your way to greater glory-Rome
But the coming glory surely is better
God’s power and glory has now come.
Shake it off and move on, Son
Go from strength to strength
For the Kingdom, shine and burn
Because the Lord is your light and strength.
Shake off every disappointment
Make it a divine appointment
Receive the Spirit’s empowerment
Use fully His all- surpassing endowment.
Saint of God, Shake it off and move on
Know beyond doubt, Moses, is dead
No need to continue to mourn
Arise and shine, leave the land of the dead.
Shake It Off and Step On It
A story is told of a donkey that was considered in its “last leg of life”. It was old seemed of little use. Whilst grazing however, it fell into a disused well.
Someone came up with a cruel idea that there was no point rescuing the donkey so they decide to bury it alive. They took shovels and started throwing down debris on the donkey. The donkey that was in distress after falling into the well suddenly felt earth landing obits back. It was horrified that it was being buried alive. It got a revelation from the blue: Shake it off! It simply kept shaking off the debris and stepping on it. Those trying to bury it alive were awestruck as the donkey kept shaking the debris off and stepping up and up until it was set free to live again. Alleluia!
Who is trying to bury you alive?
Who is throwing debris on you and saying it is over for ? Shake it off and move on.
Who says your dream is dead. Remember Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
Joshua Moved on after the death of Moses
After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying:
2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.
3 “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. Joshua1:1-3
David Moved on after his son died
David therefore pleaded with God for the child, and David fasted and went in and lay all night on the ground.
17 So the elders of his house arose and went to him, to raise him up from the ground. But he would not, nor did he eat food with them.
18 Then on the seventh day it came to pass that the child died. And the servants of David were afraid to tell him that the child was dead. For they said, “Indeed, while the child was alive, we spoke to him, and he would not heed our voice. How can we tell him that the child is dead? He may do some harm!”
19 ¶ When David saw that his servants were whispering, David perceived that the child was dead. Therefore David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” And they said, “He is dead.”
20 ¶ So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes; and he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped. Then he went to his own house; and when he requested, they set food before him, and he ate.
21 Then his servants said to him, “What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child died, you arose and ate food.”
22 ¶ And he said, “While the child was alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ‘Who can tell whether the LORD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?’
23 “But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.”
24 ¶ Then David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in to her and lay with her. So she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon. Now the LORD loved him,
Paul Moved On
He was a murderer of many believers but had to put the past behind him.
For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it.
14 And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15 ¶ But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
On his mission to Rome, Paul was shipwrecked and after surviving that with others they landed on the island of Malta. There he and others warmed themselves in a fire they had made from branches of wood they had gathered. Suddenly, as they warmed themselves a deadly snake rose out of the fire and fastened itself on Paul’s hand. It remained clinging on after biting him. People were flabbergasted and looked on. Some began to wonder how evil he must be to have survived a shipwreck and then be attacked by deadly snake.
Paul simply shook it off. They were expecting him to fall down and die. However when nothing happened to him they changed their tune and began to say, he must be a god.
Now when they had escaped, they then found out that the island was called Malta.
2 And the natives showed us unusual kindness; for they kindled a fire and made us all welcome, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold.
3 But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
4 So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.”
5 But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm.
6 However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.
You and I on the road to our vision and mission- doing what we are called to do will be challenged by seeming setbacks and attacks but we must not allow them to stop us from moving forward. You and I have the Greater on living on the inside of us. If God be for us, who can be against us. Thanks be to God who always gives us the victory. Shake that snake off and move on. Shake that disappointment off and move on. Shake that disdain off and march on. Shake that past Waterloo off and press on. Even if sin that you committed, confess it and forsake it by the power of the spirit and forgive yourself and move on.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1John1:9
14 “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Naomi Moved on
She had lost her husband and two sons in a foreign land they had migrated to, thinking it was a greener pasture. But news came that God was blessing her people back home. She had to decide to go back home even though she had had a great loss.
She went back home with Ruth, her daughter-in-law. They started from a humble beginnings till God turned their table around into a place of abundance. Through Ruth, marrying Boaz, Naomi not only had a consolation and restoration but a grand son who had a direct lineage to the Saviour of the World. What a blessing from moving on!
Then both Mahlon and Chilion also died; so the woman survived her two sons and her husband.
6 ¶ Then she arose with her daughters-in-law that she might return from the country of Moab, for she had heard in the country of Moab that the LORD had visited His people by giving them bread.
7 Therefore she went out from the place where she was, and her two daughters-in-law with her; and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah.Ruth1:5-7
¶ So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bore a son.
14 Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you this day without a close relative; and may his name be famous in Israel!
15 “And may he be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age; for your daughter-in-law, who loves you, who is better to you than seven sons, has borne him.”
16 Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her bosom, and became a nurse to him.
17 Also the neighbor women gave him a name, saying, “There is a son born to Naomi.” And they called his name Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David.Ruth4:13-17
Peter Moved On
He was a disciple who thought he was a champion disciple that would be the last man standing even when all others quit in disloyalty when the crunch comes. Jesus saw through him and predicted that he would deny Him. It happened as Jesus said and Peter was devastated. He relied on His own strength and failed woefully.
¶ Peter said to Him, “Even if all are made to stumble, yet I will not be.”
30 ¶ Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.”
31 ¶ But he spoke more vehemently, “If I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And they all said likewise.
Now as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came.
67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You also were with Jesus of Nazareth.”
68 ¶ But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you are saying.” And he went out on the porch, and a rooster crowed.
69 ¶ And the servant girl saw him again, and began to say to those who stood by, “This is one of them.”
70 But he denied it again. And a little later those who stood by said to Peter again, “Surely you are one of them; for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.“
71 ¶ Then he began to curse and swear, “I do not know this Man of whom you speak!”
72 ¶ A second time the rooster crowed. Then Peter called to mind the word that Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And when he thought about it, he wept. Mark 14:66-72
After the crucifixion of Christ, Peter thought it was all over for him with regards to ministry. But Jesus came back to him after the resurrection and restored him three times even as he disappointed Christ three times.
So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
16 ¶ He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
17 ¶ He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know a
Peter accepted forgiveness and the trust Jesus placed in him and on the Day of Pentecost we witness a bold, fiery, spirit-fuelled, dynamic and passionate preacher who stirred the hearts of about three thousand sinners, leading them to salvation. Glory to God.
Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
38 ¶ Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
40 ¶ And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.”
41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.Acts2:37-41
John Mark Moved On
This was a man who decamped from an evangelistic assignment because of other demands. Paul was not impressed and marked him as a quitter. When he came back to join them in a later mission, Paul was vehemently opposed to giving Mark another chance. Barnabas on the other hand wanted to give Mark the benefit of the doubt. This caused a big rift between Paul and Barnabas, so much so that they parted company.
Then after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us now go back and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they are doing.”
37 Now Barnabas was determined to take with them John called Mark.
38 But Paul insisted that they should not take with them the one who had departed from them in Pamphylia, and had not gone with them to the work.
39 Then the contention became so sharp that they parted from one another. And so Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus;
John Mark did not wallow in self-pity having been rejected by the great apostle Paul. He continued to minister with Barnabas and made his mark to the point that even Paul acknowledged:
Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.2Tim4:11
This same John Mark went on to write the book of Mark- a dynamic presentation of one of the synoptic gospels.
Use any stumbling blocks on the road to your mission as a stepping stone to a higher ground. Let nothing and no one stop you. Shake every barrier. Tell every mountain to move in the name of Jesus. You are more than a conqueror. Whoever is born of God overcomes this world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – even your faith. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. You have overcome because of the Greater One in You. The Holy Spirit in you has come to give you the advantage, the upper hand, the cutting-edge. You are not a mere man. You are a superman. You are extra-ordinary because God has added His ‘extra’ to your “ordinary”. Take authority in Jesus’ Name.
Is it business failure? Shake it off and move on.
Is it marital failure or disappointment? Shake it off and move on.
Is it career derailment? Shake it off and move on. Some people lost their job and they discovered their purpose and mission and vision. You can be an employer. Create your own job. There is greatness buried inside of you. It’s time to resurrect it.
Is it sickness and disease? Shake it off and move on.
The glory of the Lord is upon you.
Arise and walk. Arise and live. Arise and move. No more fears. No more tears. Arise on eagles wings. Soar on the wind of the Holy Spirit.
0 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.Eph3:20-21
Deliverance-a Done Deal
Christ paid the price and delivered all of us from the clutches and manacles of Satan and his cohorts.
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love ,
15 Having disarmed principalities and powers , He made a public spectacle of them , triumphing over them in it.
Whom the Son set free is free indeed.
He did it once and for all.
Unlike the old testament priest who has to offer annual sacrifices for the people, Jesus did it once and for all and for all time.
He did it for all- believers and none believers. The day you believed was the day you discovered and applied the cure of sin to your life.
So in God’s mind we have been reconciled to Him
and delivered from the power of darkness. Therefore whatever effect Satan has over anyone would arise either from ignorance or stubbornness of applying the medicine of salvation to themselves.
It is important that this deliverance is of no effect if one ignores it or refuses to accept what Jesus has already done. Such person can be suppressed, possessed or demonized because they have by default given the enemy power over them despite what Christ has done.
A New man, New species came into being when a person accepts Jesus as Lord. This man has the nature of God. He is a God-kind.
His Soul, made up of his mind, intellect, will and emotions however needs renewal, purging and extrication from the worldly mind-set.
This takes a process and requires studying the Word line by line-meditating on it day and night and not only saying it but practicing it. This not an automatic process. And so in this sense even the man who has been born again can be hindered and limited in direct proportion to how he is surrendered to the word of God.
2 And do not be conformed to this world , but be transformed by the renewing of your mind , that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The Romans Paul was writing to were believers and so were the Ephesians.
23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind , Eph4:23
The Corinthians were acting like babes because of their unrenewed mind.
3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy , strife , and divisions among you , are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
Jesus Himself said ”
32 And you shall know the truth , and the truth shall make you free.” John8:32
It is the truth that you know that makes you free. And your true knowledge of the truth is demonstrated by the extent to which we walk and work what we know. This is beyond ‘head knowledge’ but a ‘heart-knowledge.’
We have an enemy who has come to kill, steal and destroy. But Jesus came to give us life in its fullness.
God’s people are destroyed when they lack true knowledge-heart-knowledge, where work and walk the word , beyond their feelings, emotions what people say or what the Fleshly nature or emotion or the world or Satan and his cohorts say or present subtlety says.
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge , I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God , I also will forget your children.
Jesus said, ‘My sheep hear my voice.’ He also said, ‘If you love me keep my commandments.’
If you do not do the word, you will be like a man who looks at the mirror and immediately forgets what he saw.
The god of this age is busy in his mission of holding people in bondage and slavery.
Yes, they have been set free but they are still held down because of ignorance. It is like those who remained slaves even after the abolition of slavery because they were unaware of the ‘done deal’.
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded , who do not believe , lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ , who is the image of God , should shine on them.
So is deliverance a done deal?
Deliverance of the spirit is a done deal for all who accept it and apply it to themselves.
Soap is useless it is used.
In regard to the mind, even those whose spirits have been delivered still need to renew their mind by the Word of life, the truth, the light. And this is life-long, never automatic and we go from glory to glory in this respect. It possible to have our mind renewed in one area of life whilst been babes in other areas. But God’s mind is for us is to grow up and be mature in all areas.
There is no doubt that God has given us all that pertain to life and godliness but this is through the knowledge of Him.
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness , through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue ,
We can do all things through Christ who strengths us.Phil4:13
He is working in us both to will and to do according to His good pleasure.
God has certainly done His part by sending Jesus to come and die and deliver us but the extent to which we benefit from it depends on our knowledge of Him and the extent to which we apply that knowledge in all the areas of our lives. And remember that in all these areas we can go from glory to glory. That is why we need to add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2Pet1:5-8)

It will not return without accomplishing what it was sent to do.”
The Word says, “Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.
If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you.
He shall call upon Me and I will answer him.Ps91:15

24 “It shall come to pass That before they call , I will answer; And while they are still speaking , I will hear.
Therefore I speak the solutions-not the problems. I speak life and not death. I speak healing, health, wealth, prosperity, soundness.
As He is so am I.
God’s Word will not fall to the ground. My words will not fall to the ground.
I refuse to cry, rather I will give thanks and praise and worship my Maker and my God, Who is God all by Himself and able to do exceeding abundantly far above what I can ask, think or imagine, according to the power at work in me.
8 Ask of Me , and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance , And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

Admit who you are, what you have, where you’re at.
Maintain a good confession like Joshua and Caleb.
Say what you see in the Word. Say what God says about you, not what your feelings say or what people say or what the natural mirror says.
See Christ in you,
See your light affliction as just for the moment, fleeting, transient, temporary, passing away, a shadow, a cartoon, a mirage, working for you, a ladder and staircase for your promotion.
So rejoice, again I say rejoice when various temptation come your way. See them as your bread. They are your partners for your progress, and advancement.
See yourself a winner, see Jesus always as the Author and Finisher of your faith, Who saw the glory ahead of Him and endured the cross.
See also the glories ahead of you and be comforted, assured with joyful anticipation of a great reward.
See Christ in you, your hope glory
He is, so we are
In Him we live, move and have our being
We overcome, we triumph,
no matter what.
As He is so we are
In Him we spread, east, west, north and south.
We multiply all over the world,
In mastery and excellence,
living the higher life.
As He is so we are
In Him we have a glorious future
An inheritance of song and dance
A future filled with hope
from the God of hope.
