They have been given charge to keep them in all their ways;
to lift them up and ensure they do not strike their foot against a stone.
It is true that the afflictions of the righteous are many
but God delivers him out of them all.
God keeps all his bones and not one of them is broken.
The Lord redeems the soul of the righteous
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
Blessed are the righteous. They are blessed with every spiritual blessing.
They are blessed in their going out and in their coming in.
They delight in God’s word and His precious promises
and are like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatever he does shall prosper.
The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree.
They shall grow like cedar in Lebanon.
They will bring forth fruit even in their old age.
They will remain fresh and green,
proclaiming that the Lord is upright
and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
The righteous is a partaker of the divine nature.
He is a New Creation. Old things are past away
and all things have become new.
He puts on the robe of righteousness.
And when God looks at him,
He does not see what he used to be,
but He sees Jesus.
The righteous is justified by faith and has peace with God
and the peace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
He is a citizen of heaven and his name is written in the Book of Life.
As Christ is so is he.
He is the ambassador of Christ
with the ministry of reconciliation and a witness.
He is the light of the world and a salt of the earth,
a city on a hill that cannot be hidden.
He is called to reign with Christ even as he suffers with Him,
knowing that his present suffering cannot be compare with the glory that shall be revealed.
Christ in him is the hope of glory.
The righteous may be hard-pressed on every side but he will not be crushed.
He may be perplexed but he will not be in despair.
He may be persecuted but he is never abandoned.
He may be struck down but he will not be knocked out or destroyed.
For the righteous, the glory of the latter house shall surpass the former house
and so he goes from glory to glory.
He uses the valley of Bacca ( they valley of weeping)
as a place of spring, an opportunity to obtain testimonies.
And he goes from strength to strength and from faith to faith.
The righteous fears no evil.
He does not have the spirit of timidity or inferiority or cowardice
but that of boldness, sound mind and confidence.
He is as bold as a lion, like Daniel and friends, like Paul.
His life is hidden in Christ in God.
So no weapon fashioned against him prospers.
And every tongue that rises against him in judgement he can condemn.
This is his heritage. His righteousness is of God.
The righteous is a tree planted by the Lord to bring glory to Him.
He is destined to spread and become s forest.
He will bear fruit, much fruit and fruit that will remain.
He is to be a shelter for many and supply their needs,
represent Christ and intercede for many.
Besides he is to become a forest and not just a tree of righteousness.
What an inheritance of the righteous.
Ps34: Ps1, Ps92: Ps84:
15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.
17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
3 But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.
10 “All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.”
12 The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those who are planted in the house of the LORD
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
15 To declare that the LORD is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
19 ” The sun shall no longer be your light by day,
Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;
But the LORD will be to you an everlasting light,
And your God your glory.
20 Your sun shall no longer go down,
Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;
For the LORD will be your everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning shall be ended.
21 Also your people shall all be righteous;
They shall inherit the land forever,
The branch of My planting,
The work of My hands,
That I may be glorified.Isa60:19-21
15 Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high,
And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field,
And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.
7But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith Phil3:7-9
1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” Iaa61:1-3
4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You. Selah 5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. 7 They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion. Ps84:4-7
