“Don’t be surprised when people come against you or don’t see what God has placed in you.

You don’t need the approval of everyone around you to fulfil that dream in your heart.

God will give you the right team, the right people, who will love and support you and speak the truth over your life.”

Victoria Osteen

Joseph’s dream was opposed by his brothers yet he fulfilled his dream. David’s dream was opposed by his brothers too, yet he felled Goliath and was promoted.

King Saul opposed him for a long time but he persevered until the due time. God also gave him helpers.

Nehemiah’s dream was also fiercely opposed, but he persevered, prayed and worked with the people God gave him until the vision was accomplished.

Saul of Tarsus opposed the church, armed with warrants and arresting, torturing believers and even murdering some of them until God arrested and turned his life around. He was himself opposed and persecuted greatly. But God was with  him and protected him throughout his ordeal and he fulfilled his vision.

Jesus  came to His own but they did not receive him. They called him names. Even Peter, one of his right hand men, opposed His purpose soon after he had made a profound declaration of who Jesus was. Jesus knew Satan was then using Peter to oppose His purpose. Jesus countered Peter’s rebuke with ‘Get thee behind me, Satan.’

So is your ministry purpose, vision   or assignment opposed? Look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your Faith, Say to yourself: ‘If God be for me, who can be against me?’
