The Purpose of Christ ( by Fenny West)

the Purpose of Christ

To justify us

Reconcile us

Prepare heaven for us

Manifest Himself to us

Make us righteous

Be about the Father’s business

Give us boldness

Give us access

Take away our sins

Make us new beings

Give us new life

Give us abundant life

Destroy the devil’s works

Make us the light of the world

To bring all the sheep into God’s fold

Give us peace with God

Give us the peace of God

Make us friends of God

Make us children of God

  1. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom5:118 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

  2. 2 Corinthians 5

Romans 5

10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Romans 5

2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Ephesians 2

18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Ephesians 3

12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

30   But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God — and righteousness and sanctification and redemption — 1Cor1:30

21   For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

  • And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”Matt1:218          He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.1 Jn3:810        The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Jn10:10

  1. 16        And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

  3. 49        And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

14   For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

15   No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

2     In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3          And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Jn14:2-3

12        But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: Jn1:12
