A New Beginning (2)

Every exit is an entry

A New Beginning

A fresh start

New opportunity

For those who can see.

A New Beginning

Comes in every year

After God crowns

The last year with His goodness

And opens the door to the New

When a child is born

When a business is born

When a ministry is born

On the day of graduation

On the day of promotion

On the your wedding day

On your birthday

On your home-going day

On your anniversary

When you are born again

When you are forgiven

After confession of sin.

It’s time to forget

the former things

both achievements

and disappointments

accolades or blockades

God opens and no man shuts

He shuts and no man opens.

He has the final say

Because He is God

And His will, will be done.

He makes a road in the wilderness

And Rivers in the desert

Because great is His faithfulness

New every morning is His mercy.

We press on for the mark-

Mark of the prize of the high calling-

High calling in Christ Jesus.

We are bold to go for gold

As we break out of the world’s mould

We reach for the stars beyond the stars.

Pressing Toward the Goal

12   Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

13   Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

14   I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

Prov4:18, Job8:7, Isa43:18-19, Isa46:10, 2Chro32:7-8, Ezek36:10, Eccl7:8, Zech4:6-10
