This Final Lap
In this final lap of this year
Do not lower your bar,
Your hope or your expectation,
Regardless of what has been
or has not happened.
Keep believing God
For those things which were promised.
God does not come too late
Keep standing on the promises.
Keep calling those things
Which be not, as though they are.
Stagger not at the promises of God.
Be not weak in your faith
The just shall live by faith.
Rather like Abraham, keep being strong in faith
Giving glory to God, taking steps of faith.
Redouble your efforts
Relent not. Be adamant
Be importunate like Blind Bartimeus
Like that man who went asking for bread
From his friend in the night.
Be passionate in your prayer like Jabez.
And Jacob: ‘I will not let you go until You bless me.’
Believe God for the best.
Those who know their God
Shall be strong and they
Shall do great exploits.
We are more than conquerors through Christ.
I can do all things through Christ
Who strengthens me.
If God be for me who can be against me?
Through our God we shall do valiantly.
God is able to do exceeding abundantly
Far beyond your wildest dream.
If you can think it He can exceed it.
Cast down every imagination
That would tend to make your God small.
God has pleasant surprises
For those who remain in faith
Keep seeking His face
And do your part.
And when you do
He will surely do His part.
Remember if you are willing
And obedient, you will eat
the best of the land- not just the good,
like the Land of Goshen given to Israel.

Hebrews 11: By Faith We Understand
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
“The just shall live by faith.”
31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.Isa40:31
2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them — the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.
13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.
14 The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
15 And the LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.
16 But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
Genesis 21: Isaac Is Born
1 And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken.
2 For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
3 And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him — whom Sarah bore to him — Isaac.
4 Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.
5 Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.
6 And Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.”
7 She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”
Joseph’s Rise to Power
37 So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants.
38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”
39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.
40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”
41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”
42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.
43 And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.
14 And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Ex3:14
8 So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”
18 So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives.
19 And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.1Sam.30:8,18.19
