https://inspiration4generations.wordpress.com/2014/12/22/the-birth-of-jesus-by-fenny-west/

The Birth of Jesus

The birth of Jesus

Laid the foundation

For the liberation

Of man under condemnation.

The birth of Jesus

Sounded the death knell

Of Lucifer- the devil

Who caused man’s downfall.

The birth of Jesus

Oozed an aroma

Of hope the world over

Now man can cross over

To the Alpha and Omega

The birth of Jesus

Painted a picture

Of a glorious future

For those who will

have a divine nature.

The birth of Jesus

Ushered a glorious dawn

Of God -the Son

Whose light shone.

The birth of Jesus

Brought a Friend

Who will stick to the end

And end the reign of the fiend.

The birth of Jesus

Brought our Mediator

Brought our intercessor

And our Saviour.

How Long? ( by Fenny West)

How Long Will It Be Ere They Believe me?

Num14:11

Be not confused by the old language.
How long will it be before you believe me?

Why would you because of mercies unseen doubt My parentage?
How can you easily forget My countless mercies, like the ten spies?
How can you easily forget that My mercies are new every morning and great is My faithfulness?

Sarah was in this place and got Abraham to compromise.Gen16
Abraham was in this place and was depressed under the impression that Eliezer would be his heir. Unbelief also caused him to lie protect himself.
But I was merciful and reassured him, reaffirmed my covenant and even changed his name to line up with My will for him. Gen17

I called the thing which be not as though it was. And that is the nature of faith. The just shall live by faith. I used the heavens to paint a picture of the greatness in store for him and he believed.

He turned the corner even after the mistake of fathering Ishmael. In the fullness time, at the set time, I gave him laughter ( Isaac). That son at his old age meant everything to him-apple of his eyes. So I put him to the test: “Take now your son, your beloved son to a place I will show you and sacrifice him…” Gen22

He obeyed and left immediately. He passed his test with flying colours. Why? He had learned that great is My faithfulness. I am not One Who lies. Heaven and earth would pass away but not one tittle of My word will fall to the ground without fulfilment. I do not bring to the time of birth and shut the womb.

How long?
I do not cause to bring forth and stop delivery.
I provided because I presided. Isa66:9

You too can turn a corner and belief to receive your Isaac; your laughter. You too can silence the voices of unbelief like Joshua and Caleb,”
30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses , and said , “Let us go up at once and take possession , for we are well able to overcome it.”
Num13:30
7 and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel , saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.
Num14:7
You too can affirm like Paul:”
28 And we(I) know that all things work together for good to those who love God , to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God’s Everlasting Love
31 What then shall we say(I) to these things? If God is for us(me) , who can be against us(me)?
32 He who did not spare His own Son , but delivered Him up for (me) us all , how shall He not with Him also freely give us(me) all things?
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life , nor angels nor principalities nor powers , nor things present nor things to come ,

39 nor height nor depth , nor any other created thing , shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ro8:28,32,37-39
25  …for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me. Acts27:25

How long?
31 But those who wait on the Lord  Shall renew their strength;  They shall mount up with wings like eagles , They shall run and not be weary , They shall walk and not faint.
Isa40:31

5 Why are you cast down , O my soul?  And why are you disquieted within me?  Hope in God , for I shall yet praise Him  For the help of His countenance.
Ps42:5

9 Shall I bring to the time of birth , and not cause delivery?” says the Lord.  “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.
Isa66:9

1     How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever?

How long will You hide Your face from me?

2     How long shall I take counsel in my soul,

Having sorrow in my heart daily?

How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

3     Consider and hear me, O LORD my God;

     Enlighten my eyes,

     Lest I sleep the sleep of death;

4     Lest my enemy say,

     ” I have prevailed against him”;

Lest those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

5     But I have trusted in Your mercy;

My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

6     I will sing to the LORD,

Because He has dealt bountifully with me.

Ps13

No Need to Cry ( by Fenny West)

No Need to Cry

No need to cry.
No need to sigh.
The Word is just nigh.
It is not too high
And beyond your reach.

The Word is in your mouth
And in your heart;
The Word of faith,
The Word of life,
The Word of His grace that is able to build you up and establish you and deliver to you, your inheritance: salvation ,faith, healing, son-ship, heir of God, joint-heir with Christ, health, help, heaven, peace with God, peace of God, peace like a river, divine nature, royalty, God-kind, liberty, kingship, priesthood, advantage, advocacy of the Spirit, revelation of things to come, building myself up in my most holy faith, intercession of the Spirit,  ministry, ambassadorial role, co-working with God; being blessed with every spiritual blessing,  divine direction, hope, being a masterpiece, sitting with Christ in heavenly places, soundness of mind, love, self-control, goodness gentleness, kindness, patience, boldness, righteousness,  deliverance, prosperity, abundance of the seas, hidden riches in secret places, dominance in your chosen field, Good Success,
Wisdom that surpasses knowledge, security, joy unspeakable and full of glory and long life, Christ in you your Hope of Glory, and going from glory to glory.

The Word is of His Spirit.
The Word is spirit and life.
The Word is living, active, dynamic, powerful, sharper than any two edged sword
The Word is the sword of the spirit.

Say to yourself:
“I refuse to cry.
I refuse to sigh.
I will use the Word to recreate my world.

I will use God’s Word as my word.
I will use the word to move obstacles.
I will use the word to shape my future.
I will use the word as a messenger and servant.
When I say ‘go’! it goes.
It will not return without accomplishing what it was sent to do.”

The Word says, “Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.
If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you.
He shall call upon Me and I will answer him.Ps91:15
Call upon me in the
15    And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.Ps50:15
3 ‘Call to Me , and I will answer you , and show you great and mighty things , which you do not know.’
Jer33:3
24 “It shall come to pass  That before they call , I will answer;  And while they are still speaking , I will hear.
Isa65:24

Therefore I speak the solutions-not the problems. I speak life and not death. I speak healing, health, wealth, prosperity, soundness.
As He is so am I.
God’s Word will not fall to the ground. My words will not fall to the ground.
I refuse to cry, rather I will give thanks and praise and worship my Maker and my God, Who is God all by Himself and able to do exceeding abundantly far above what I can ask, think or imagine, according to the power at work in me.
8 Ask of Me , and I will give You  The nations for Your inheritance , And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
Ps2:8

Run to finish well (by Fenny West)

24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.1 Cor9:24-27

1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb12:1-2

6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2Tim4:6-8

Run Well the Race of Grace ( Fenny West)

Run Well the Race of Grace

1 Corinthians 9:24-27Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.

25 Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.

26 Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary.

27 But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].

Run well the race of grace
Refusing any let or hindrance.
Run well the race of grace focusing on Jesus-the Author and Finisher of your faith.
Refuse distractions along the way. Let no accolades or accomplishments deceive or steal your steel or zeal. Let no jealousy or attacks or disdain trip you up.

Hebrews 12:2Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Set your face like a flint.
See your Saviour who for the joy set before Him endured the Cross. See also the joy and banquet set before you and endure your cross.

Philippians 3:12-14Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.
I have made you a bronze wall and an iron pillar and a fortified city like Jeremiah.
Be not afraid of their faces. I am with you and in you and for you. And if God be for you, who can be against you? They will try to resist you but they will not overcome you. They will fight against you but they will lose, stumble and fall.

17 But you [Jeremiah], gird up your loins! Arise and tell them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed and break down at the sight of their faces, lest I confound you before them and permit you to be overcome.

18 For I, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar and bronze walls against the whole land—against the [successive] kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land [giving you divine strength which no hostile power can overcome].

19 And they shall fight against you, but they shall not [finally] prevail against you, for I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you.
Refuse to use carnal weapons.
For the weapons of your warfare are not man-made, but they are mighty through God, with divine potency to decapitate and completely neutralise and discombobulate your adversary. Let this be your confidence. Cast not away this confidence. Be bold and strong with a sure-footed stability. Put on the whole armour of God and stand in the evil day.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,

[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
You are more than a conqueror. Greater is He that is you than he that is in the world. ( 1John4:4, 1John5:4) In the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. And I did it for you. ( John16:33)

Run well the Race of Grace. Consistently and continually seek God’s face. Let the Holy Spirit guide you as to how train for the race. Know that it is not a 100 metres dash but a divine marathon. You just need regimental training and exercise  and strict diet and mental agility moment by moment.
Let the Word of God dwell in you super-abundantly, saturating you, lighting your path, carrying you, building you up, speaking to you as the Holy Spirit brings it alive as the Word for the moment-rhema.(John16)

John 16:13Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

1But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
He guides the steps of His own. He guides them into all truth. He guides them to green pastures. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. The path of the just shines brighter and brighter unto the full light of day. ( Prov4:18) You will hear a word and a voice saying to you, “This is the way. Walk in it.” He will guide you like he did, the Israelites (Ex14), Abraham’s servant, (Gen24) Jesus Christ Luke4:1, Paul and Silas Acts16, Cornelius, Peter (Act10), Phillip (Acts8:26)the  disciples (Act13:2).

Acts 13:2Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Separate now for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.

Wage a good warfare with the prophetic word you have received in times past.

1 Timothy 1:18Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

18 This charge and admonition I commit in trust to you, Timothy, my son, [a]in accordance with prophetic intimations which I formerly received concerning you, so that inspired and aided by them you may wage the good warfare,

Pray the word back to God or use it as an armament against the enemy, like Jesus did, “It is written…It is written…It is written.”
Run well this race of grace knowing when to retreat in prayer and fasting to advance. Moses did and did great exploits. Joshua did and God opened his eyes to see why Israel was defeated by Ai. Jesus did and was able to defeat the devil and complete His assignment. Nehemiah did and not only obtained favour with the king but went on to start and finish building the walls. (Neh6:15, Josh7)

Finish with finesse like Paul. It is good to start but more important to finish and finish well like Usain bolt will do on a track and field event and break records.
See the saints of old gone ahead of you beckoning on you; cheering you. “Common on, you can make it. You’ve got what it takes. You have the Holy Spirit. You have the Word of God. You have All you need. Angels are on assignment for you. Finish like Solomon finished the building. Finishing like Nehemiah finished rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Finish like Esther brought Harman to justice and cut down the sword of damocles hanging over the heads of her people. Finish like Jesus did and said, “It is finished.!” It is done. John19:30, Esther4,5,6
Like Paul finish and be able

2 Timothy 4:6-8Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

to say, “I am now ready to be offered as a libation. I am ready to depart and join the cloud of witnesses. I am ready to meet my Maker. I have finished my race of grace. I have finished my course. I have completed my assignment. Henceforth is laid for me a crown of righteousness which the righteous judge shall give, not only to me but to all those awaiting His appearing.

2 Timothy 4:6-8Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

6 For I am already about to be sacrificed [my life is about to be poured out as a drink offering]; the time of my [spirit’s] release [from the body] is at hand and I will soon go free.

I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith.

[As to what remains] henceforth there is laid up for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me and recompense me on that [great] day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and yearned for and welcomed His appearing (His return).

Glory to God!

When God Opens Your Eyes( by Fenny West)

When God Opens Your Eyes

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.2Ki6:17

When God opens your eyes

You will see beyond the natural;

You will see unseen realities

You will see what will blow your mind

You will see eternal verities.

When God opens your eyes,

You will see the Goliath that faces you as an uncircumcised Philistine;

You will see yourself standing on him and using his sword to cut off his head; you will see all those aligned with him fleeing away because of his demise.

When God opens your eyes,

you will see issues that need to be dealt with by prayer and fasting

and you will pray and fast like the disciples,

like Jehoshaphat , like Jesus, like Paul, like Moses.

When God opens your eyes,

you will see that he has prepared a table for you in the presence of your enemies; you will see that those who seem to be working against you are actually working for you; you will see that there are more with you than are against you.

When God opens your eyes

you will see people as He sees them; you will see those who are currently very opposed to the Gospel(as Saul) and potential trophies in His hands.

When God opens your eyes,

You will see your life hidden in Christ in God and no foe can touch you;

whoever touches you touches God and you are divine territory.

When God opens your eyes,

you will see yourself through God’s eyes and see yourself crucified with Christ, raised up with Him and seated with Him in heavenly places, far above principalities and powers.

When God opens your eyes,

you will see your future of greatness

like Abraham and see your blessings as stars in the sky and sands on the sea shore- hidden riches in secret places, treasures of darkness and abundance of the seas. And you will be able to call those things which be not as though they were. You will, like the king, in the days of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, see the fourth Man ( Jesus Christ) like the Son of God in your situation.

When God opens your eyes,

You will be able like Jesus, see the joys set before you and endure your cross even as He did, and sat down at the right hand of His Father; you too will see the end from the beginning and press on to fulfil your calling.

So make your faith effectual by acknowledging the good things about you and in you.
Cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the revealed will of God.
Admit who you are, what you have, where you’re at.
Maintain a good confession like Joshua and Caleb.
Say what you see in the Word. Say what God says about you, not what your feelings say or what people say or what the natural mirror says.

See Christ in you,

See your light affliction as just for the moment, fleeting, transient, temporary, passing away, a shadow, a cartoon, a mirage, working for you, a ladder and staircase for your promotion.
So rejoice, again I say rejoice when various temptation come your way. See them as your bread.  They are your partners for your progress, and advancement.
See yourself a winner, see Jesus always as the Author and Finisher of your faith, Who saw the glory ahead of Him and endured the cross.
See also the glories ahead of you and be comforted, assured with joyful anticipation of a great reward.
See Christ in you, your hope glory
