Pay the Price

Pain May Train

When Heavens Are Brass

Where is God?

It’s time to praise                            

When health does wane

Love is the key

Pain precedes gain

Could be a voice

To board a new train

To trigger your joys.

So listen to that voice

That is megaphone

And make the right choice

To get fattest bone.

Today don’t delay

The night will soon come

Make hay while it’s day

Let His Kingdom come.

Is none but Prince of Peace

Brought fatal retreat

No warring faction

Can bring resurrection

Young wick snuffed out

Spring chicken stricken

Would this be a lesson?

Would this bring reason?

Yes, for some it will

For some others, it won’t

She believed and lived

A life that was long

The Truth she embraced

Triggers a great altitude.

Therefore, I will sing and praise;

Turning your back on God

Sin is separation from God

Sin is disobedience

Ge:3:5: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Ge:3:6: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Ge:3:7: And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Ge:3:8: And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

God promises power over sin

The fall of Adam introduced sin into the world

 No one is righteous

Ro:3:10: As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Isa:54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Isa:64:6: But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

You cannot save yourself

Eph:2:8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph:2:9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ro:5:1: Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Ro:5:2: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Ro:3:20: Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Ro:3:24: Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Come no matter how bad you think you are

You need to realise you need God

Choices carry consequences

• Saul lost his throne and eventually his life

• Demas lost his destiny to be a preacher, haven followed the world

• People in the days of Noah were wiped out by the flood

• David lost his son

• Solomon influence was diluted as he worship foreign gods and lost his focus because of 700 wives and 300 concubines

1Ki:11:3: And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

1Ki:11:4: For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.

1Ki:11:8: And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.

• Absolom lost his life because of pride, ego and pursuit of power

• King Nebuchadnezar was humbled because of his pride. He was driven into the forest where he ate grass like an animal and grew feathers like a bird until he acknowledged God and was then restored.

• Achan lost all he had and his life and that of his family because of greed

• The prodigal son lost wasted and lost all his inheritance because of greed

• Ananias, with Sapphira lost their lives because of deception

• Pharaoh was humbled

• The Israelites who murmured for meat were bitten by serpents until Moses interceded

• Miriam became leprous for opposing Moses

• Israelwas carried away intoBabylonfor her sin against God

• Those who believed the evil report of the 10 spies died in the wilderness

• Even Moses was judged for striking the rock instead of speaking to it and he did not enter the promised land

Sin breeds sin

Soon after Adam and eve sinned we find Cain murdering his brother Abel because of jealousy. ‘Why must you be better than me?’

Sin brings fear

Ge:3:9: And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

Ge:3:10: And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Sin brings death

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Gen:2:17: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Sin brings bondage and wastage

God has done something to break the power of sin over you and I

Isa:53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Isa:53:11: He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Isa:53:6: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

You have to accept what god has done

You good works cannot save you

You must be born again, regenerated

Why you need to be saved

Decision Determine Destiny

Salvation is available because Jesus decided to come to our rescue Phil2:5-11

Prodigal son was restored

Paul was used mightily to plant Churches and raise leader and light a touch that is still burning

How to be saved?

Acknowledge you are a sinner

1Jo:1:8: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Jo:1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1Jo:1:10: If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Believe that you cannot save yourself, only Christ can save you, your good works cannot save you

Confess Jesus as your Saviour, confess your sin, repent from your sin, ask for forgiveness, invite Him into your life pray a prayer like, Lord, I admit I am a sinner. I cannot save myself by my good deeds. Please forgive me of my sin. Cleanse me of my sin. Come into my life and take your rightful place. I surrender to you. Come and be my Lord. Grant me a desire to live for you.

Thank you for your mercy and for writing my name in your book of life. I am born again!

Jesus gives us a Clean Slate, New Beginning, New Life

Joh:10:10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

There is a party I heaven because of Your repentance

Lu:15:5: And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

Lu:15:6: And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

Lu:15:7: I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Lu:15:10: Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Salvation comes with benefits -Peace with God, peace of God, name in the book of life , eternal life, fellowship with God, divine direction, destiny unfurled, power over sin The Holy Spirit, angelic covering, spiritual strength, God’s presence, audience with the Most High anytime  anywhere, exceeding great and precious promises, the word of God, the whole armour of God, power over temptation, growing, glowing and going from glory to glory.

Sin, Severs, Sows Seeds of Discord

Sin, Severs, sows seeds of discord

Deceives, dilutes, drains God’s power

Sells out to Satan, brings the fall of man

Destroys destiny, shortens life, pollutes.

Sin separates, soils God’s sanctuary

Deals darkness, blindness, sadness

Sacrifices birthright like Esau and Saul

Damns, disunites, draws God’s anger.

Sin stops revival, sells lies and denies

Detracts, dulls sensitivity, kills creativity

Surrenders your future, affects others you love

Dig the valley of Achor, trouble and weeping.

Sin separates

Blinds and binds

Captures the careless

Destroys destinies.

Sin Deceives and damns

Doles demise

Is a Gate to the grave

And a Bed of sickness.

Sin is the Hub of Hell

Shadow of Sheol

Bread of fools

Drink of the dying and the dead

Sin is Obscene

Nullifies the naïve

Sweet for a season

sows seeds of strife.

Sin adds distress

Multiplies misery

Subtracts favours, devours

Sin distorts, abuses

It’s a deadly arrow.

Doing wrong is fun for a fool, but living wisely brings pleasure to the sensible.

12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Sin drugs, detracts

fosters distraught

subdues ,delivers dirt

sears and burns.

Sin springs sorrowful surprises

saps strength, slowly, creepily

fuels fear and fall

emasculates and strangulates

Sin lures for sure

feeds false prosperity

pollutes purity

thwarts integrity.

 Sin Separates, Subtracts

Sin Dishes disgrace

Empowers the enemy;

wears a gory crown;

kindles wicked flames;

deadens conscience.

Sin dethrones the proud;

devices wicked schemes;

derails, degrades;

demeans, decreases.

Sin fools the fool;

Harbours hell;

Replete with regret;

Excuses to accuse.

 1Jo:1:1: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

1Jo:1:2: (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

 You see in any good factory that produces goods in large quantities, have what is called, Quality Control Section, where a prototype of the good is rigorously tested to make sure it delivers when it is released to the public for use or for consumption. If the product failed the test, they went back to the drawing board and tried again. Only the product that passes the test is accepted and is given an approval sign like the one Nike uses.

 In the Old Testament when a man sinned he brought a lamb to the high priest  and what the pries does is to check the lamb to make sure it had no defect.. Once he is satisfied that the lamb had passed the test, that lamb took the place of the person and it was slaughtered to atone for sin.  There was also a scapegoat on who the sinned of the people were confessed and released into the wild. They did this once every year on the Day of Atonement.

 You see my friends. Jesus when through the quality control test for you and I. We were faulty, marred by sins and trespasses. We were broken beyond recognition. We were sin-sick, depraved, separated from God. We were fallen with the Adamic nature going through life under a sentence of death, doom and damnation. There was no hope for us. We were in darkness, doomed for destruction. We failed every test under heaven. We tried to please God but we could not. We tried to fulfil the law but sin that was within us kept us falling again and again. That was why Paul said ‘the things which I want to do I do not and the things which I don’t want to do, that I do. …Who will deliver me from this bondage of sin? And back came the answer: Jesus Christ. Jesus went thought he mill for us. He was tested, beaten, battered, broken, crushed .Isaiah said he was wounded for our transgression bruised for our iniquities the punishment that brought us peace who heaped on Him and by his stripes we were healed.

 Jesus bore our guilt, our punishment, and passed the quality control test. Jesus was the lamb that took away our sins. It was not easy for him yet He passed the test. He cried ‘My God my God why have you forsaken me…‘  That was when your sin and my sins were heaped on him. And because God could not behold sin, for a while, Jesus was separated from the Father. And after the righteous demands of a just God were satisfied Jesus had to be raised on the third day, and because he live s you and I can live if we come to the cross on the basis of what He has done for us. He did it once and for all.

 Your righteousness will not do. It is as filthy rags before God. ‘We are saved by grace, through faith, not of works lest any man should boast.  ‘All we have sinned and come short of the glory of God.’  “The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’”

 To day will you come to the saviour of the world and admit you are a sinner? Will you come and bow your knees and ask for forgiveness. Will you come as you are, no matter how far? Come and give your life to Him. Come humbly and Him abundantly pardon. he said whoever come to me I will  not cats away.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, not Hare Chrisna, not Mohammed, not Buddah, not Bahaula, not Joseph Smith, not a Pentecostal denomination, not Anglican,notChurchofEngland, not Baptist. Evangelical churches .Religion is not the way. Jesus is the Way. Good works is not the way. Jesus is the Way. He is the Lamb slain for YOU. He is the Way to heaven, the bridge to God. No one comes to the Father except through Him. He is the cure to sin-sickness. He is the perfect match to the God-size hole in you. he is reaching out to you today. Reach out to him in return and he will touch you and you will live. You will be saved you will be translated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God‘s dear Son. The old will go and the news will come

The word of God tells us. If any one is in Christ, the old has gone and the New has come, why because he has became a new Creature. As many as received him to them he gave the power the right the authority to become children o god.

Come s you come no matter how far. Today if you hear his voice do not harden your heart. This is the day of salvation. This is the acceptable time do not delay. Delay deceives, drowns and deals death to dreams. God has a good plan for you. . Don’t blow it with delay. Don’t drown it with delay. Don’t deal death to it with delay. Do not say tomorrow is another day. No one is promised tomorrow. James said, your life is like a vapour and it vanishes in a moment.

 You all know the story of the King of Pop (Michael Jackson). He had grandiose plans for a series of gigs which he called, ‘the the Final Curtain Call.’  ‘This is it’, he said as he spoke to cheering crowd, not knowing what was round the corner.  A few weeks later, he was gone in the wind. It was a sad moment for the world.

You and I do not know when the grim reaper will show up at our door step as he did with our friend. We cannot tell him to go and come back another day, we must answer the call. Are you ready to meet you Maker?
